 Instructions As an MA, you will have the unofficial title of explainer-in-chief. This week’s readings focus on the utility of accounting information in decision-making. Using accounting statements, measures, and ratios in planning is required. Review the three Special Reports on Dropbox provided in this week’s resources. Then, read or listen to these articles in the order provided. Begin this paper by creating a one-page overview of Dropbox; this requires additional research. Formulate thorough responses to each question and include a rationale. Utilize calculations as needed to communicate predictions. Consider the international implications of these decisions. Complete the paper by writing a one-page executive summary to pitch to investors. Address the following: a. The effect of stock issuance on the company’s assets, liabilities, and equity. b. The effect of stock issuance on the Income Statement. c. The effect of the IPO on the company’s current and debt ratios. d. The considerations made when leaders determine the need to raise cash through an IPO is better than incurring additional debt. e. Given the results of the IPO, offer your view of the leaders’ decision to go public. Length: 5 to 7 pages Place the executive summary after the APA-formatted cover page.
