Questions 1-‐3 only require a 1-‐2 sentence answer. Questions 4 and 5 require 2-‐3 paragraphs .1.)Hypotheses: What were the hypotheses being tested in the paper? 2.)Participants: Who were the participants in the study? This information will be in the Method section of the paper. 3.)Results: What are the main findings of the paper? You can find this information in the Results and Discussion section. If you are not familiar with statistics it may be easier to understand the results by the summary given in the Discussion section .4.)Methods: Read the Method section of the paper then write a first-person description of what it would be like running through the study as a real participant. So if the procedure section stated “First, participants filled out a questionnaire assessing their exercise habits” you would write “The first thing I did in the experiment was answer questions on my exercise habits”. Do this for the rest of the procedure described in the method section. 5.)Reaction to the Study: After describing the study procedures describe how you think you would have reacted to being a participant in this study. Would it have been easy to answer the questions or perform the task? Would the study have been fun or boring? Do you think you would have guessed the hypotheses of the study? Etc
